SACOA’s SUMMER OIL™ is classified as a Horticultural Mineral Oil (HMO). HMO’s are an integral component of Integrated Pest and Disease Management (IPDM) practises. HMO’s are considered ‘soft’ pesticides since they are generally specific to particular life stages of certain pests and also because they are not persistent in the environment.
